With these newer quicker racks, what's recommended for wheel size?

smaller 15" wheel you turn your hands less but some likes the large 17 so they say you can feel movement in car better, its a choice changins size is not a race winner.

I go with a 15" due to clearance issues.

With as much debate as there always is on this topic, I'd think there's a market for a 16" steering wheel.

I use a 13" wheel and they are really hard to find new or used.

I bought a Joe's 13" ultra light drilled aluminum on Amazon.com and I LOVE it on my new 4 1/2" 220 Sweet... :)

Personal choice I had used both and prefer the 17" wheel.

Joes carries 13", 14", 15", 16", and 17". I've heard many racers use smaller wheels for bullrings and smaller, more on the wheel type tracks and then use a bigger wheel on bigger and more sweeping tracks. Big teams just switch cars or racks, but budget guys find a little cheaper alternative to slow down and speed up the steering.

I used a 17" wheel with a 15" seat until for some reason these numbers switched at about age 50 and now I find myself using a 17" seat with a 15" wheel for clearance. Wheel size is just users choice in my opinion.

My annual response to this annual question,,,,,,,,,,,, use the biggest wheel your belly will allow.

BTW a 13" wheel is for driving with handcuffs on.... in Tijuana, or a gocart!
