COMP Cams Super Dirt Series at Timberline Nixed by Rain
Corley, Texas (05/09/14) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil event scheduled for tonight, May 9th at Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas) has been nixed by heavy rain from overnight. Series and track officials are evaluating potential reschedule dates. The program for Saturday night at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) is still on as scheduled.
Saturday evening, May 10th will see the stars and cars of the CCSDS competing in their second event of 2014 at the racy confines of Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana). Earlier this season in a co-sanctioned event with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Scott Bloomquist raced to victory at the 1/4 mile oval. A complete program culminating with a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event will be held. Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, ProMods, Factory Stocks, and Beginners will also be in action. Grandstand admission is $20 with kids (ages 10 & under) free. Pit passes are $35. Gates open at 5pm with racing action at 7:30pm.
