My pull bar is currently 3.5 to 4 inches left of rear end center. Pull bar is around 36 inches long can't really remember and don't have my notes with me and it has 22 degrees of angle. The car has a lot of initial bite it just doesn't keep it down the track, and RR tire feels like it is on top of the track. Could I benefit any by centering the pull bar and taking angle out of it.

I would try taking the angle out first. try to get it down to 18. Where is the back in relation to axle centerline? In front or behind?

It is 3.5 forward of axle centerline and 13.5 up

Yeah try to get it down to around 18. Think that should hold traction a bit longer. What bushing/spring? Are you 4-4 floated or something else?

I'll give that a try. I'm trying a afco 3 stage right now with a 800lb spring and yellow bushings set to come in at half an inch. Its 4/4 floated coil over in front on RR And coil over behind shock in front lr

How far down the straights do you get when you start to feel the loss of drive? Sounds like your problem may be something other that your mechanical traction device. Possible that your gear isn't tall enough?

It starts to loose drive a little before half straight. Its a small 3/8ths track around the top maybe with tight corners. If the track isn't dusty dry I can run the bottom and it has good bite all the way down the straight. Its when I go to the top and carry some momentum that it looses the bite.which makes me think it needs some angle taken out.

Take some angle out. 15-18* is what has worked best on my car. Maybe try taking it down on the housing a hole. I was told between 11-13" above the center of the pinion is where you want it to be.
