Running a 1\2 mile with sweeping corners and track stays tacky most of the night, but will occasionaly get slick depending on sprint car count and of course how much it was watered. Car is a 2009 Shaw 4-bar modified. USRA spec head 406 for a motor. Currently have the QuickCar small diameter w/ red bushings but it seems to get wheel sping easy if the tracks does get just a little slick.

What is the better options on pullbars and the resulting effects of each?

AFCO 3 way with something like 600#-1200# spring - or a non-progressive spring?

AFCO bushing style with blue bushings?

Just a regular spring loaded style with a standard spring?

I am running the same pullbar and had great luck in the slick but if you are running g60 tires you might try taking a red out and putting a yellow in its place.. just something to think about... I run chainlink hoosiers and have great drive with all reds just depends on what tires you are running

Try the 600-2000 shaw spring, Have you dyno'd the motor to confirm it doesnt have any sudden power spikes?

Motor was not dyno'd, but driver says it has a smooth power band. Was able to take lots of lead off the car with change to USRA type rules, the %'s are good but it just seems to have rear wheel spin now.

I would try the yellow before swapping to a different set up, that is what we run. JMO and best of luck.
