Bought street stock mixed question on chassis

I got this car on a steal. Was told it's a 75 camaro front stub car. Had a family member that knows cars check it out. Questions it being a 75 camaro? Any help would be great it's a leaf spring car factory upper and lowers. Thanks in advance.

Looks like a 1970-81 Camaro subframe from the limited pics. Steve Smith has many books on these cars. they work well, good luck and have some fun! :-)

Going to be replacing the front suspension but uncertain if this is considered a metric car. Ordering my parts from speedway motors. Definitely a noob question...

If it's a Camaro, it's definitely not metric. Metric is a 78-later Monte Carlo, Regal, Cutlass and Grand Prix.

Generally, suspension parts on these do not interchange without modification.

Camaro is all the same except the hub and outer wheel bearing, 2 different sizes.

Looking for tubular upper and lowers speedway has a lot of options. Which ones are the correct ones?

Do yourself a favor and buy some better quality parts than Speedway… their a-arms are weak. Buy from Joe's, DCA Fab or from your nearby race car shops. Just about any of the chassis shops will have what you need at competitive prices with better quality and service after the sale.

If you want something that is strong and very low friction, UB Machine makes great uppers. I have had mine if some pretty hairy situations and they came out straight. You can also set the pre-load on the cross-shaft so that they drop under their own weight when you hold them.
