Richmond, KY, June 9, 2014 – After an exciting Sportsman Spectacular, Richmond Raceway promoters have many import announcements to make. Please be sure to read the press release in its entirety so you know everything happening in the coming weeks.

The 5th Annual $1500 to win 107.5 Modified Bash has been postponed until June 28 and will be run on the same night as the Topless B.O.S.S. Sunoco Sizzler. Scheduling conflicts with the local truck and tractor pull and equipment malfunctions that may not be fixed in time to prep for
Saturday’s big race are contributing factors in this decision. Also, due to the fact racers seem to want to race along the water truck road instead of on the racing surface, track workers need time to ensure racers will stay on the track to race; so some reconfiguration of an interior barrier will also be installed. This should help reduce the dust for the enjoyment of fans, racers and track personnel.

Unfortunately, due to low car counts, the Four Cylinder Class will no longer be running at Richmond Raceway. We regret having to make this decision, however with little support for the class the decision was made for us.

Bikers, be certain to ride out to the track on June 28. Not only will you have reserved parking, you will also receive $10 admission to this huge event. But the catch is, you must ride your bike in. This event is certain to be one of a kind with $2,500 Topless B.O.S.S. Late Models and the $1,500 to win 107.5 Modified Bash. Also in action is the Pit Stop Burgers Sportsman Division.
Admission to this one time only event in the grandstands are FREE to kids 5 and under, $3 for kids 6-12 and anyone 13 and up is $18. In the pits kids 5 and under are also FREE, kids 6-12 are $5 and 13 and up are $35. Once again, there will not be any racing this Saturday, June 14. The next event is June 28 with 2 huge races taking place.
