Mike Benedum Tames Tyler County for Third Win of '14
Salem, West Virginia (06/17/14) - Mike Benedum made an unannounced visit to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) on Saturday evening in his #25 BSI Well Service/Longhorn/Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model and turned it into his third win of the year.
A Weekly Racing Series program was on tap for competitors, and preliminary action found Mike qualifying sixth overall. As a result he started on the pole of the dash and won, positioning him starting on the pole for the finale. In the feature Benedum topped the field by nearly a straightaway at the checkered flag for his third victory of the season. He was followed across the finish line by Derek Doll, Steve Weigle, Butch McGill, and Sonny Conley.
"This new Longhorn Chassis has just been amazing so far, and it really fits my driving style," commented Benedum. "With a lot of big events coming up in the area, we are real excited about the second half of this season."

This Friday, June 20th the team will enter a Weekly Racing Series Event at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania). The program will serve as a tune-up for the following weekend's 8th Annual Firecracker 100. For more information on the event, please visit www.Lernerville.com .
