View Full Version : Ford Intake Against the Volvo Penta

We Run a stock Intake rule in are Mini Stock Class but there is a Volvo who has to use a marina Base Penta intake. He is allowed to run this intake but must add 50lbs to the car. We have Flow Bench both if these intakes and the Stock Ford is hands down is getting raped. I also know allowing the Ford guys to run the Esslinger Intake would even up the area of concern. So what are everyone thoughts.
NOTES & RULES
Camshaft must not Exceed .500 no rollers
Stock stroke and weight cranks only 2" rod journals of
Stock intakes only
Long rods and over size bores of
Stock clutches only
Porting & polishing & big valves ok
TRACK 1/4 HIGH BANKED.
Gearing around 5500 - 8000

This guy won't answer anyone on the "Engine Build Off". Quit worrying about some Volvo beatin you and tell us what is going on man!

As far as I know due to the really high demand they had to go out another 400 packets together and they should be sent out by the end of june. I was asked to post this on the 8 web sites I get on.
