No Racing at 201 Speedway June 28th; Track Prepares for Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on July 5th

SITKA, KY (June 23, 2014) 201 Speedway is eagerly preparing for the 2nd Annual Hatfield & McCoy Feuding 50 at the 1/4 mile oval on July 5th, 2014. The track will be idle on July 28th, which was originally scheduled to be a Weekly Racing Series program, in order to prepare the Eastern Kentucky facility for the Lucas Oil invasion.

The stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tour visit 201 Speedway on July 5th to close out a busy Independence Day weekend for the LOLMDS competitors. The 2nd Annual Hatfield & McCoy Feuding 50 event will feature a full program of Hot Laps, Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a $10,000-to-win, 50 lap feature.

A strong contingent of regional and local racers are expected to battle with the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on July 5th. In addition to the Super Late Model division, Bombers will also headline the evening’s racing slate in the 2nd Annual Bill McCloud Memorial, paying $1,000-to-win.

Left Rear/Fronts – Hoosier Rib 1300, 1425 (no white dots)

Activities for the July 5 event at 201 Speedway will the pit and general admission area cleared and re-opened at 3:00pm. A mandatory drivers meeting set to take place at 6:30pm followed by hot laps at 7:00pm. Ticket prices for the July 5 event in the general admission area will be $30 for adults, pit passes are $40, while children ages 10 and under are admitted FREE to 201 Speedway.
