MAY & GANT WIN FINAL WARM-UP RACE @ Fort Payne Motor Speedway.... 6/28 - - - NEXT WEEKEND FIRECRACKER 50
Fort Payne, AL (6/28/2014) --- The Fort Payne Motor Speedway race its final Warm-Up race Saturday night, in preparation for next weekends big event "The FireCracker 50" presented by Complete Cash Title Pawn. Local hot shoe Kyle May of nearby Pisgah, put his #55 "Lambert Inc.,TA's Automotive,TA's Suspensions, Coosa Heating & Cooling, Racin Warpaint, Marty May Racing, GRT Crate Late Model in "Tires R' Us Victory Lane" readying for next weekend $1,500 to-WIN 30 lap showdown. In the "Complete Cash Title Pawn" Super Late Model feature Robert Gant again of Flat Rock, AL took the win in preparation for the big $3,000 to-WIN FireCracker 50 event next Saturday night. In other racing action Section, Al's racer Kenny Stone won the Barksdale Motors A-Hobby division. In the PrismaPrint B-Hobby class it was Gadsden's Bobby Bartlett winning his second consecutive feature. In the Kountry Korner Sportsman class it was Centre, AL's driver Justin McGatha winning. In the Twin Cities Used Cars Pony class Ivalee's Chip Battles took the checkered flag again as did South Pittsburg Tennessee's James Salisbury Jr. in the Kiss FWD class. Next Saturday night July 5th, its the 7th annual FireCracker 50 event. Big money is on the line with most area race tracks shutdown for the holiday alot of out of towners are expected to race with the Fort Payne Motor Speedway regulars.
