had a good run going sat night, had a caution on lap 10 of main, my power steering completely quit, made for a hard 20 last laps, unloaded this evening and discovered gas in my steering fluid, im assuming a seal is blown, has any one had this happen?

I've never had it happen, but I've heard of it. I also vent my reservoir cap to alleviate pressure.

I have had it happen before. You will have to get a seal kit and put in it. Make sure you have a vented cap like flat tire said. The cap not being vented is more than likely what caused it.

thanks guys, good tip on the vented cap, mine is vented , BUT it was stopped up, would probably done it again.....and they say you cant teach an ole dog a new trick LOL...again thanks.

also check the shaft for pitting,it will cause a problem also
