Richmond, KY, July 6, 2014 – Richmond Raceway Promoters are working diligently to present the biggest and best event in the 48 year track history. The 27th Annual $10,000 to win Sunoco Race Fuels Butterball™ will take place this Saturday, July 12. This is the 3rd of 5 Battle of the Super Series (B.O.S.S.) races at Richmond Raceway.

As if $10,000 to win wasn’t enough; the first ever Butterball™ Challenge will also be in play. The winner of heat number one will have the pole position in the feature. Prior to the feature green flag, the pole sitter will be asked if he wants to give up his pole position to start in 20th place. If he chooses to do so, the pole sitter and only the pole sitter will be racing his way through the 50 lap event for $25,000. Yes, $25,000! Be sure to mark your calendars for this epic event.

Also in action during Butterball™ is the Real Country 107.5 Modifieds racing for $1,000 and the Pit Stop Sportsmans racing for $600. With great car counts all season in both classes Saturday’s event is sure to be amazing.

Gates will open for this once in a lifetime event at 3:30 on the pit side and 5:00 on the grandstand side. Grandstand admission prices are $25 for anyone 13 and over, $5 for kids 6-12 and FREE to children 5 and under. Pit prices are $40 for ages 13 and up, $10 for kids 6-12 and FREE to kids 5 and under.

Gates will be open from Thursday through Saturday morning for anyone wishing to put chairs or blankets on seats. Richmond Raceway officials are not responsible for lost, stolen or moved seat markers. Due to limited seating for this event 6 pack coolers only are permitted. Anything larger will be turned away. NO BOTTLES PERMITTED.

the pole position for this race isnt fair for all drivers that show up it shouldnt just be for the winner of heat race 1 there should be a 6 lap dash for all heat race winners to determine the pole position because the last car to qualify may be the best car but not get a good time because of track conditions the tackets use to race and should know this keep it equal please

Again.bleedsbluer2, you like me are wasting our time trying to get a point across to the Tacket's.There way of doing things is,(SOMETIMES I WILL,THEN AGAIN I THINK I WON'T.)

Had many calls on tires....

B.O.S.S. Late Model Tire Rule
a. Hoosier 1600 and 1350, LM40
b. American Racer 48 and 56
c. Fastrak Late Models running on B.O.S.S. nights FT200, FT400, Spec21, Spec 55,Hoosier 1600, 1350, American Racer 48, 56
d. Only eight (8) tires permitted in a race night. Tires will be marked at inspection,those tires must be run for the entire event.
e. Maximum circumference permitted is ninety-three inches (93").
f. Maximum cross section width permitted is sixteen and three-quarter inches (16
3/4")
g. No tire softeners or conditioner.
h. Officials reserve the right to take random tire samples at any time from anyone. All prize monies will be held until lab results have been confirmed.

$100 entry fee for B.O.S.S. Late Models for Butterball™ Race

Modified and Sportsman Tire Rule
a. Hoosier: 'A', 'H', Hard and Extra Hard; American Racer: Hard and Extra Hard
b. Siping is allowed.
c. Grooving is allowed. Permitted in 2014 due to UMP rule changes.
