Weaver had everything go his way at Smoky Mountain on Friday but there was some good battling behind him.

Very impressive run by Weaver in the new Longhorn chassis. No one had anything for him. Good runs by Skip Arp and Bobby Giffin. Arp came from a b-main and was running 4th before he had a problem late in the race. Giffin came from way in the back to finish 7th, passed Kerr once for 6th before Kerr passed him back. Pretty good for a steel head motor.

Weaver was in a class of his own last night. Good run for Welshan in Warrior car, too bad they had problems. After all these years... Skip is still fun to watch, hated he had trouble too.
