My left rear birdcage on my 2011 is about 1in closers to the center of the rearend than my 08 smackdown was. Does anyone know if thats how it should be? The left rear shock is just about straight when car is sitting on the ground.

I don't think it shouldn't be straight. I believe the LR shock/spring should be inboard at the top 18*. There's also a measurement from the inside of the rotor to the center of the lower shock mount...I believe 7 3/4" (I could be wrong by a bit). You can do a search for old posts. I know it has been a popular question/subject. How do the bars look running forward to the chassis...fairly straight or toed in/out?

Toed in on the left. Toed out on right just like my 08.

You sure those are the right bird cages? If they are, is the rearend the correct offset?

I don't know that any of the rear bars should toe out, but I could be wrong. What is your measurement from the right hand liftbar plate (on the rearend) to the center of the right rear frame rail? At ride height (with the driver/driver's weight in the seat), I believe it should be around 16 1/4".

The measurement from right side lift bar plate on top of the rear to the center of the right rear frame rail should be 15 3/4". This assumes the standard rear end for a smack car which is 33/35. Next most important thing is the lower shock mounting locations which you typically measure from the edge of the brake rotor. I thought for sure I had those numbers written down but I dug through the notes from our old smack car and couldn't find anything. Surely someone on here has it.
