Friday night at Lakeside was some good fun with great racing in all the classes, there were no run aways, every race was close and not decided until they crossed the finish line.
Houston Johnson won his first feature Friday hanging on to the lead with brother Austin Johnson nipping at his heels at every turn and chance he could. Congrats to Houston.
Chad Clancy had to work hard for his win with several b-mod drivers taking shots at trying to make the pass for the lead, Chad held off every try after getting the lead.
John O'neal Jr. had a great run in the stock car feature taking over the lead and then staying there with several regulars taking turns trying to run him down and pass for the lead. John held on for the win.
The a-mod race had to be a race of futility for several racers as the lead would change hands several times with Kerry Davis making a last corner pass on Mark Schafman to take the win. Nick Bidinger looked like the winner until mechanical problems took him out. Enjoy.
