72 Plymouth sport fury with the 440 in it........hand me down from my uncle.

Pretty cool ole car and although not very quick out of the gate, she would bring the mail when up to speed.

Not a very sexy ride according to the girls, but had plenty of back seat room......

Since I first saw one in an issue of, "Muscle Car Review" back in high school I've wanted one. Only ever seen on in person and it was not for sale. Perfection would be a Bubble top, 4-speed, 421 Super Duty with 8 lug aluminum wheels.

This was my first car. It was a '64 Fairlane Sport Coupe powered by a 260 C.I. small block with a 3 speed on the column. Cragar SS on all 4 corners. I remember my Mom bought 2 of the Cragar's at the local NAPA store for me for my birthday. I bought the other 2 off of a guy who had a '55 Chevy with a Ford straight front axle under it. He was getting a set of fully polished American mags and I was in the right place at the right time.

The old Fairlane wasn't too fast but she was pretty when she was all cleaned up and shinin'!!

For about a year, I lived in a small town called Virginia Minn. My good friend Bobby had a Pontiac that he let me drive a lot cause he kept breaking a limb.. LOL It was the 421, 4 speed but not the bubble top, it was as I remember a 2 dr HT but not the bubble...it was dark blue with the aluminum 8 lug wheels. Cool car!! He hated the wheels by the way, cause no one made mags for it....LOL

These 2 cars are my favorite rides that I've owned.

The maroon '68 Coronet R/T was a 440, 375 HP, 480 ft. lbs. of torque. I put an Edelbrock Tarantula aluminum intake topped with a 750 CFM Holley double pumper, Appliance headers, Accel ignition, I put a shift kit in the 727 Torque Flight trans and I put a 3.90-1 posi in it. It had the Super Trak-Pak suspension which included the bigger brakes which was badly needed on those cars. With the 3.08 open rear end it would easily run 140 MPH and with the 3:90-1 posi and 8" slicks it would run 13.20's at around 103-104 MPH in the 1/4 mile. Not earth shattering but not bad either. It was a torque monster that would smolder street tires at the drop of a hat!! It was hard to keep tires on the rear.

The '72 Nova SS was a nice car but just a bit too small for me. I was cramped in it really bad. It was the hottest 350 you could get in a Nova SS in '72 but that wasn't saying much. I didn't do much to it other than traction bars, headers and a mild hydraulic lifter cam to make it sound just a bit warm! It sure looked good, though. I put a set of fully polished American mags on it but I don't remember the size tires. I sold it to a guy who in turn sold it to a guy that ran it under a semi trailer and totaled it less than a year after I got rid of it. Bought a '76 Monte Carlo with a 305 in it right after I sold the Nova and I never regretted making the switch for a second.

Sorry so long winded, guys. I just thought I needed to clarify the back story.
