Would a 07 J-Car with 2010 updates be a good car to start a rookie in wissota Midwest modified??? Looking at maybe buying one for my son. looks like a nice car all good parts like new body, 10 wheels and tires some new, some extra parts as well, full roller for $3000 just needs motor and tranny. Thanks

I would call the builder and talk to him to see if he is going help with tech support and find out some details of his chassis. Tech support and customer service are very much needed when buying a chassis, best of luck.

Contacting the builder won't work.. J-Car is no more. I run an 06 j car with 2013 updates wissota mwm, and like it. Depends who did the updating and what front stub was used.

Mitch @ Specialty Fabricating can help you with the set-ups. I called him earlier this summer and he filled me in on a lot of info.

There are a lot of J-Cars running WISSOTA… my rookie son got a late start this season... he' has an '03 J-Car (Impala stub). It's a nice driving car…. EZ to set-up and will run pretty good once the kid get's a few more laps under his belt.

If you need to borrow the set-up info let me know I can get it for you.

Mitch @ Specialty Fabricating 701-298-9799. He doesn't seem to be the chatty kind… so ask your questions but don't expect a long drawn out explanation. He gave me a basic set-up to start… there will usually be a few J-cars around whose owners would be happy to help you out.
