191 Speedway’s 1st Annual Working Man 20 Set for Saturday September 20

Campton, KY-September 9, 2014- 191 Speedway track promoter Kevin Mayabb and staff are set to return with dirt track racing in the form of a Saturday special for the Super Bombers at the 5/16 mile oval with the 1st Annual Working Man 20 event on Saturday September 20, showcasing some of the best racing in the Bluegrass state as they recognize the Super Bombers class with a $1,000 to win payday.

The Saturday September 20 racing program will feature the track’s 1st Annual Working Man 20 event, paying $1,000 to win for Super Bombers, along with a full racing program of racing action, with $700 to win for Modifieds, $700 to win for Limited Late Models, plus $200 to win for Stock Four Cylinders. RACEceivers are mandatory for all divisions and can be rented at the track at driver registration, with all drivers needing to be signed at the time for the drivers meeting that evening at 5:30 p.m.

The Working Man event is the brainchild of a group of Super Bomber drivers who would like to help organize the division, consolidate the rules across multiple tracks, and present attractive payouts that will help grow the division.

This event is presented by Fraley Automotive Inc, Patton Racing Supply, Central KY Motorsports Expo & Swap Meet, SpeeDecals, Jones Motorsports, Napa of West Liberty, Foxes General Store, Rainmaker Racecars, Hackworth Garage, Wiseman Contracting, Phantom Racing Gear, Hellraiser Motorsports, Smoking Joes Lawn Care, and Alissa F. Tolle DMD.

1st Annual Working Man 20 A-Main Payouts for Saturday September 20:
Super Bomber (20 laps): 1st- $1,000, 2nd- $700, 3rd- $500, 4th- $400, 5th- $300, 6th- $250, 7th- $200, 8th- $150, 9th- $125, 10th- $100, $100 to start. The hard charger will receive a $100 bonus courtesy of Hell Raiser Motorsports. The fast qualifier will receive a $50 bonus courtesy of Smoking Joes Lawn Care. The hard luck driver (fastest qualifier to not start the show) will receive a $200 gift certificate to Phantom Racing Gear.
Limited Late Models (20 laps): 1st- $500, 2nd- $250, 3rd- $200, 4th- $150, 5th- $100, 6th- $75to start.
Modifieds (20 laps): 1st- $700, 2nd- $400, 3rd- $300, 4th- $225, 5th- $150, 6th- $100, 7th- $75to start.
Stock 4 Cylinder (15 laps): 1st- $200, 2nd- $100, 3rd- $75, 4th- $50, 5th- $25 to start.

Activities for the Saturday September 20 1st Annual Working Man event will see the general admission area and pit area open at 3:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m., with practice laps set to begin following the drivers meeting. Time trials will get underway at 6:30 p.m., with racing set to take the green flag at 7:15 p.m. Ticket prices on Saturday September 20 in the general admission area will be $12 for adults, while children ages 11 and under are FREE, while a pit pass will be $25 for adults 12 and older; $5 ages 6-11.

191 Speedway is a locally owned and operated dirt track facility located in southeastern Kentucky between Campton and Hazel Green on highway 191. The track owners of 191 Speedway have over 50 years of combined racing experience and know what it takes to run a successful track. Their knowledge of the sport will be very beneficial for not only the racers but also the fans.

The track is 5/16 of a mile in length with a width of 75 feet and has 15 degrees of banking in the turns and 12 degrees of banking down the straightaways. The track layout and design looks to produce some very fast times in all classes.
