I was trying something new the past two weeks by setting my tow 1 1/4 and it handles great and I was wondering if it being that much would take straight away speed out of the car and if I decreased it down to one inch how would it affect the handling out of my race car

It's the toe on the front of the race car where u set with toe plates and I was wondering the effect if I made it lesser cuz it drives greatest of any race car we have at the 1 1/4 i read the tape measure cuz my dad and brother double checked me

It would scrub straight away speed, how much I don't know. This looks like more toe than anyone has ever recommended to me. I always see 1/4 to 1/2" depending on preference

if it got better with that much toe I would be looking at my bump/roll steer in the front. how did it get better?? though the middle of the corner??? might have some bent spindles or bad front end geometry thats giving you some toe in during roll or bump making your car unstable without that much static toe out.

This was the second time I tried the car out so I haven't ran it lower on toe yet it don't have anything bent or messed up it ran 5th both nights it's been out but I'm gonna set it to 3/4 what the sheet says and see if it runs any faster

Its been my experience , that your car is on the loose side, and you used excessive toe to tighten it back up. Even though it helped, it is not the best way. Like some have posted, you are scrubbing off some serious speed on the straightaways. Make weight changes or bar changes, when necessary, and you'll be faster.

I have never seen a chassis builder suggest any thing over 3/4. That would be my max on a very tight stop and go track. imo

You can build temp into the LF by running exaggerated toe.
