Is this for a sport mod or an A mod?

With a 602 I would just use a long solid bar, some 604 guys are having success with solid links as well. The dandy bars are pretty good as well, I have one on my car.

I dont use a shock with the Dandy bar. I have a few in stock, if you decide to go that route give me a call and I can get you a good deal on one.

Hate to chime in on another man question, but I'm new to modified racing myself and I have a 4 bar modified with a 602 crate motor. Is a 3 stage afco pull bar setup good for the crate motor or better off with a biscuit bar or solid top link?

From my experience with a 602 crate any type of biscuit or spring bar seemed to delay the torque application too much. The dandy bar acts different than a traditional pull bar setup but I preferred a solid top link with the 602.
