The normal is a D55 92 on RR and a 90 or 88 on LR depending on the amount of stagger desired.
Would the shorter sidewall work better or worse?

I'm by no means a tire guy, but here's my guess: One of the reasons everybody got away from 92 tires on the front is because of the amount of sidewall deflection and the negative effect it had on steering input/control. But based on what we're asking our RR tire to do, I believe you need that sidewall deflection in order to maintain a desirable contact patch (traction). Consider how corner entry would be if you had a solid rubber tire on your RR? Loose as a goose and beyond...

Just wondering if anyone, anywhere, tried this?
