Covert won the $2,000 Fall Bash tuneup (2day show next weekend, $8,000 to win for Late Models) at Hagerstown Saturday night. He passed early leader Glenn Elliott then held off Jason Miller and Eckert at the end after Stuhler broke while charging in 2nd with 4 to go. Great field of 40 cars on hand, and Deana Groves won the first ever appearance of the EMods..
