Any opinions please. Most races 8-20 lap heats and 15-20 lap features.
Greetings Late Model Racer;
We have tested various late model tires and we have three tire option recommendations for you to consider for the 2015 season and beyond.
Please take the time to review the following three choices and choose the option that you would prefer.
It makes absolutely no difference to anyone of us which choice you prefer and regardless of the choice that we end up with, you will be allowed to run your current inventory out. There is no price difference in any of the choices.
Please state your preferred choice (1,2 or 3) and return it to me by return email ASAP and no later than October 31st. This is very important and a chance for you to give us your choice.
OPTION #1
1. Hoosier 1450 allowed on all 4 corners with a D70 RR option. The 1450 is similar to our old 30 compound and has a cross block pattern. The D70 is our 35W modified rubber and tested very well as a late model tire.
It is recommended by Hoosier that this option be no siping or grooving as it
Is not needed for these tires. This option is the one recommended by Shanon
of Hoosier Tire based on the testing and knowing our tracks and cars.
You would be allowed to run out your current inventory.
OPTION #2
2. Hoosier 1450 allowed on all 4 corners with the WRS/WRS2 55 RR option.
It is recommended by Hoosier that this option be no siping or grooving on
any 1450s, but, you could sipe and groove the RR 55 option.
You would be allowed to run out your current inventory.
OPTION #3
3. Continue with the current tire and tire rule as is.
PLEASE SEND YOUR RETURN EMAIL STATING OPTION 1,2 OR 3—THANK YOU.
