I'm a Kiwi with a American built DLM that I race in New Zealand. It is a standard 4 bar car. When I got the car last year the lift bar brace was mounted back to the right side axle tube at about 45 degrees. We now have it mounted to the right side chassis rail.My question is: Will this restrict rear steer on the right side or will there still be enough movement in the rod ends on the brace? I would appreciate any input.

It should not restrict rear steer but lubing the heims where it braces to the rear end becomes more important. Everybody has their own opinion on how the lift bar should be braced. MasterSbilt braces back to the axle, Rocket braces to the frame, etc.
