CARTERSVILLE, GA – The Comfort Inn in Dawsonville, GA will be the Host Hotel for the NeSmith Racing Annual Awards Banquet at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and Thunder Road Museum in Dawsonville, GA on January 24, 2015. The Comfort Inn will offer banquet attendees making reservations before January 2, 2015 a special discount rate.

The NeSmith Racing Annual Awards Banquet will honor the Top 10 drivers in the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series, the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series and the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division, plus many other special awards including the Bob Cross Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award.
National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Inductee Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN will take to the stage twice to receive his second straight $20,000 check for winning the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Championship, and a $10,000 check for winning the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series title.
Chris Noah of Rainbow City, AL will be honored as the 2014 NeSmith Late Model Rookie of the Year, and Brent Barrett of Cleveland, MS will be honored as the Chevy Super Series Cruise With The Champions Rookie of the Year.
Chris Holley of Dayton, TX will be presented a $10,000 check for winning the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series National Championship after turning in a perfect season with 15 victories. Jeremy Idom of Hattiesburg, MS will be honored as the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock National Champion Presented By AR Bodies and receive a $2,000 check.
