What are the guys running crown vic stubs running for spring rates how do they compare to chevelle motion ratio also?

Been running a 650rf 550lf, but have ran as low as 550rf 500lf. Cant remember the motion ratio, but of all the chassis the vic lowers make the spring feel stiffer then the chevelle and metric in that order, the metric making the spring feel the softest. If that makes sense. M&M cars base set up starts at 750 rf 700lf, but makes the car too tight for me. Doesnt seem to transfer to the rf enough.

What year crown vic has the correct front snout?

'79-'02 should work. '03-up will have R&P steering with an aluminum front X-member IIRC. The rear's changed more than the fronts with a four link/watts link in later models.

The crown vic chassis also has long control arms and very good bumpsteer most are setup with pinto spindles which shortens the steering arm increasing steering speed and helping Ackerman plus cutting about 15 lbs off each corner.

I have a lightning ford and run 750 LF 700 RF with a bump stop. that when it seem to really take off

Do you use the same idle arm and drag link that comes with the crown vic? What about pitman arm and steering box? Looking at building new car for next year and really thinking about a crown vic clip.

I used the factory steering components but got a cop car box and used pinto spindles.
