Does anyone know if NGK makes racing spark plugs for Ford 2300 heads? I checked their website and could not find any. We have been running their plugs but they are listed as standard plugs.

Thanks for any help

You could try an NGK Iridium IX . NGK calls them "Extreme Performance".

I think the ones we are using are the R5724-x. I know we went to a colder plug later in the season so without pulling the plug from the car I will not know for sure.

The R5724-8 is a projected tip plug.

If you have a head where the plug is close to the deck or piston, you can go with a NGK DCPR7E or NGK BR7EFS
