Yes, it did happen. Think it was after the USA Nats about 4-5 years ago. Not sure exactly.

I can remember wondering if we'd see Shannon in a Bloomquist chassis after that. Way back in Shannon's year with GVS Racing running the Hav-a-Tampa series, he and Bloomer would pit near each other a lot. I think there's a pretty healthy respect there.

The way the Zero cars have looked this weekend I think the future is bright if Scott decides to back off on his schedule and money race. McDowell, Weiss and Ferguson have all been in fast. Stormy had some bad luck in his heat last night. His brother Johnny, for never racing a late model before, has looked good. Shannon will get faster if he gets to drive one more, and Scott looked better last night than Thursday.
