Feb. 2, 2015 Hagerstown Gearing Up for the 2015 Season The Hagerstown Speedway is gearing up for the 2015 season. One race that has a few positive additions is the June 27th Nininger Memorial -$2500 to WIN TOPLESS event for the Late Models. Not only is this a Topless event for $2500 but Glen Nininger and Nininger’s Tire and Auto has added $25 to each lap feature leader and $50 to the heat race winners. In addition to the track shootouts & challenges, Lucas Oil Dirt Series and Appalachian Mountain Speedweek, Promoter Ernie Davis has added the Penn Mar Vintage Series, Sidewinder Sprint Series, P.A.M.S. Mini Stock Series, Classic Car Racing Series, All American Outlaws Series and Mid Atlantic Modified Series. Public Relations Director Danny Wilson, “The Dirt Track Capitol does not have what most fans call a regular show. We have up on the wheel, fans on the edge of their seat, entertainment filled events. Ernie and Keya has raised the bar for the 2015 season. If a fan misses a weekend of racing at the Hagerstown Speedway it will be like missing the entire season.” Fans and race teams, don’t forget we have the car show coming up as well. The 30th Annual Race-A-Rama race car show will be at the Hagerstown Valley Mall on February 24th- February 28th. Race cars, equipment and displays will enter the mall on Monday night (February 23rd) only after the mall closes at (9:00pm). Entry will be at the Allegany Optical entrance. On Saturday there will be a kids coloring contest from 10:30-12:00. On Saturday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:00, Roy Anderson will conduct a Race car Set-up Maintenance and Tips seminar for all interested parties. Saturday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 a driver interview, autograph and award session will be held. Race cars will be removed from the mall on Saturday night after the mall closes (9:00pm).
