Helping a buddy that just bought a front steer nova motor stock location maybe 1" back, he will run 3 speed Saginaw. Car has a 12 bolt in it that is suppose to have the correct gear in it for the track he wants to run but he also got a ford 9 that came with the car that needs a new R&P I think it is short narrow yoke.
Question is does any one know for sure what length drive shaft these two rear ends take 12 bolt or ford 9? The car did not come with a Motor, tranny, or drive shaft and he wont have a motor ready for a month or so but would like to know what to be looking for. I know this is tough question but real info would help.
