I know everyone minds are down south in Florida right now. But I'm traveling to Indy for work for about two weeks. I'm leaving next week and want to catch some racing while up there. I'm a Georgia boy and not real familiar with Indiana tracks. So any insight would be great on when and where to go. Thanks

It'll be passed a couple weeks from now. March 14th the spring 50 is at Florence speedway in Kentucky. It would be a bit of a haul, a couple hours at the most from Indy.

That's the first race I know of in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana tri state area.

Thanks for all the info I'll be back and fourth the next couple of months so I'm definitely going to hit a few new tracks up. All my buddies I work with are always looking for the nearest strip club and I'm always looking for the nearest bullring to watch some good local talent I wouldn't normally get to see.

I'd much rather go to a dirt race than a strip club

Kokomo Speedway opening night is April 10th and is only about 1 hour 15 minutes from Indy. Kokomo is a first rate facility and host some of the best racing you'll see all year.

Lincoln Park Speedway opening night is April 11th. LPS is also a very nice facility only about 45 minutes from Indy.

Either of these racetracks will not disappoint if you decide to take in a race. Both are well run, well prepared and have high quality and ample car counts.

Too bad your not planning for the 17th 18th of March. Farmer City is just west a bit on I 74. That is one not to miss. WOO race with a lot of regional talent.

You might want to check that date. I think the WOO schedule shows it as March 27 & 28.
