Well, unlike everybody else he raced against.............having a 6 car quiver of top notch mounts ready and waiting at your disposal certainly gives him one less thing to worry about on race day.

Didn't win him the race because the car didn't drive itself, but was just one of the many subtle differences between him and 98% of every other super late model driver /teams in the country.

To be honest and with all the advantages that come with being josh Richards, he should win every single time!!!

Talented driver, unlimited resources, a money tree to pick c notes from daily and access to all of the best of the best.........yep, should never lose.

It'll be interesting to see how the racetrack holds up with all the laps that will be turned on it in the next few days. Just hope it doesn't lock down for the bigger money races

It would be an improvement if it locked down! It is like a slip n slide right now and is a very dangerous proposition to run the top or anywhere besides right on the bottom. Francis never left the hub and had the bottom on restarts, that really helped. We got hung on the outside on the first restart and lost about 8 spots in one lap . If the yrack stays the same for the point races there will be a lot of bruising going on.

Just to be clear.

I'm not denying that he has advantages over someone like... Whitener, or Dohm. But to say he has an advantage over Bloomquist, Moyer, Owens, Lanigan, etc. is flat out wrong. Those guys are just as loaded. Bloomquist and Lanigan are both building successful chassis just like Richards is, and they were loaded way before that.

He is running against the people he should be running against, money is no object for half of these National teams. So it shouldn't matter.

that is "assassin" and he got his share of wins over eckert in years past and i'm confident of more in the future !!! not bad for a guy who holds down a full time job , supports a family and helps in the community !!! eckert on the other hand is a "professional" guy who races for a living and probably shouldn't be beat by many guys let alone a bunch of local and regional guys !!!! just my opinion though !!!

I was totally puzzled when he was unable to win a race on the woo tour last year in the mighty rocket house car. in fact, I'm still puzzled at how he pulled that off.

I was just asking a question and wondered why certain ones were critical of Eckert. I get a few of you guys really like Josh and feel nobody can replace him in the house car and get the results. I respect your opinions and have no problem with it. Pink answered the question and was nice about it. To the one that called me the knucklehead, I guess your one of those guys that can't respect the opinions of others unless they match your views?
