Lavonia Speedway to host 3rd Annual "Late Model Mania"
Lavonia Speedway is set to host the 3rd annual "Late Model Mania" event on March 6-7-8 with its season opener. Local teams as well as those of the "big boys" will be on hand to participate in what has become one of the Souths more noted events. Teams are set to be there from TN, GA, SC, NC, KY, VA, WV and PA making it 9 different states. The super late model portion of the event was won by Riley Hickman in 2013 and Casey Roberts in 2014. As the venue is about to change its start and race times, the race is anyone's at this point.
Fridays times. Gates open 5:00 PM Practice 7:00 - 9:00. Pits $10 Stands free Trackside free. Open practice for all classes.
Saturdays events/times Gates open 2:00 Drivers meeting 5:00
Should end by 10:00 Pits $30 Stands $15 Track side $15
(2 day pass stands and track side $30)
Classes include: Hobby 602, FASTRAK Pro late model, Front Wheel Drive, Stock 8 and Rookie 4. (This will be the first touring event of the season for the FASTRAK late model series)

Should end by 9:00 Pits $35 Stands $20 Trackside $20
