BRUNSWICK, GA – Golden Isle Speedway has moved up the starting times on Sunday for the East Coast Battle Royal NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series $2,500-to-win 50-lap race in an effort to beat cold temperatures that are forecast for South Georgia late Sunday evening. This Sunday, the pit gate will open at 12 noon with hot laps scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
NeSmith Late Model Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection will begin at 12 noon and close at 2 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. The Sunday race will be the second of two events this weekend at Golden Isles Speedway. The first event will be a $2,500-to-win 50-lap race on Saturday night. The two races are Rounds 4 and 5 of the 2015 NeSmith Late Model season.
On Saturday, the pit gate will open at 12 noon with NeSmith Late Model Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. with Hot Laps and Racing to follow.
