Frank has always been fast. In past years, he was usually fast out of the box in time trials but seemed to struggle in the races. That seems to be old news. Much more consistent like you mentioned.
He ran a heck of a race last night. Pressured throughout. That was no cakewalk. He flat out raced his competitors.

Congrats Frankie:cool:Go get another one.

Congrats to the whole Heckenast family! Add another one to the list of national standouts from Illinois! I would expect even bigger things from here on out.

Congrats to Heckenast and crew. Watched him race many, many times.....he's getting stronger each year. Nice to see him break through. And that wasn't easy, he had to go get it.

Go 18!!

Seems that last years chassis change has helped him step up a level or two on the Outlaws pecking order. I know the season just started, and to early to know how the season will go. Its nice to see Richards back and be strong right away. Its nice to see Clanton back in Victory lane. First time wins from Heckenest and Casebolt. Chub looks improved McCreadie looks good. Lucas Oil looks wide open also. Carrier looks good. Bloomquist and Owens look to be struggling a little early. Makes me pretty excited for this season. And their are still a lot of really fast guys that haven't turned a lap yet, like Feger, Babb, Shirley, Unzicker, Hawkins, Miley, Boggs, Drown, Miller, , Kent Robinson,VanWormer, Hubbard, Boggs etc etc. the young stars like Pierce, Sheppard, and Moran look like they can win any night.
