Richmond Raceway Adds Dates for Mini-Cup/Cyclone Division Racers for 2015

Richmond, KY- February 15, 2015- Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are pleased to announce the addition of a division to racing action at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY for the upcoming 2015 season.

The Mini-Cup/Cyclone division has been added as part of the 2015 racing program at Richmond Raceway for fourteen (14) events. The division will start out paying $100 to win and if interest builds and enough drivers and cars show up to grow the class, the amount to win will increase.

The division will be part of the track’s season opening event on Saturday April 11 and will also be in competition on Saturday April 25. The class will join the racing program on three Saturday evenings in the month of May on May 2, May 16, and May 30, while also competing on two Saturday events in June on June 13 and June 27. The division will be featured twice each month the remainder of the season as well, with those dates including July 4 and July 18, August 15 and August 29, September 5 and September 19, and also at the season ending event on October 3.

Rules and regulations for the Mini-Cup/Cyclone division can be found online via the track’s website at www.richmond-raceway.net.

The 2015 racing season will get underway with a pair of Test and Tune Open Practice dates on Saturday March 28 and Saturday April 4. The 50th anniversary season opening “Dawn of a New Era” event for Richmond Raceway gets underway with the official 2015 season opening event on Saturday April 11.

Richmond Raceway is located at 328 Greens Crossing Road, just a short drive from the city limits of Richmond, KY.
