The anticipation of the 2015 season at Senoia Raceway will hot full throttle on Saturday, February 28th when drivers will hit the track for the first time since the new track configuration has been completed. The new promoter team of Bill Massey, Mayes Massey and Doug Stevens tore down the interior concrete walls widening the turns to nearly 90 feet. The trio also added 200 loads of Georgia red clay and have been working the clay for three weeks perfecting a tightly compacted track that should create some of the best racing the 3/8ths mile bull ring has seen since it's return to dirt in 2010.

Clint 'Cat Daddy' Smith tested his super late model this past Saturday along with the east coast big block modified team of Tim Fuller. The test went well and all felt the track was ready for some competition. The super late models will be competing weekly at Senoia Raceway beginning with the March 7th season opener.

The practice will begin at 5pm and continue until 9pm. The pit gates will open at noon for a pre-season swap meet and then the open practice. Pit passes are $20. Grandstand admission is free for the evening practice rounds.
