Hey guys! With Florida behind everyone, does anyone have any feedback on the new A40s tire? How does it perform? Any suggestions for preparing the new tire? Longevity? Speaking of strictly performance, do you feel an A40 or the new S is the better tire? My email is timcole 421 at gmail if you'd rather contact me that way. Thanks in advance!

I picked up some tires from Scott at Hoosier Midwest in Springfield and he said that a40s is 3 points softer than present a40 and the sprints in Florida ran the new compound and that the 1st and 2nd place sprints were on the a40s compound , I personally wasn't there , I'm not familiar with sprint stuff just repeating what I was told. He also said mod a40s's have not been made yet, this was last week

Was told it will be a much better tire over all compared to the A40. Is said to be better on restarts, less prone to graying over longer runs, have a longer life cycle, you get the picture. They have been tested at Plymouth Speedway. That info straight from Hoosier Tire. Results will vary I am sure. Ive never asked Jamie his opinion. Too much Results May Vary to really consider data from others.
