CARTERSVILLE, GA – Panama City Cycles of Panama City, FL will provide the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series and the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series with a 2015 Honda Recon as the Official ATV of both series. In today’s short track racing, the ATV has become just as much a common tool to race teams as the wrench and the screwdriver.
“We’re proud to be a supporter of NeSmith Racing and to do what we can to keep short track racing alive and well,” Ryan Crane of Panama City Cycles said. “There are just as many ATVs in the pit area of short tracks today as there are race cars, and we will work with the race teams at the track to help keep them in the latest equipment.”
Not only are Crane and Panama City Cycles involved in the NeSmith Late Model Series as a sponsor, but also as a competitor. Crane knows firsthand how important the ATV is to a dirt late model team, and is able and willing to work with race teams to have easy availability to an ATV that fits their needs.
“The ATV has become a race team work horse in getting the race cars and all of the support equipment and tools where they need to be at the race track,” Crane said. “We’ll appraise what race teams have for an ATV at the track for a trade, and we’ll even deliver a new ATV to them at the track.”
