(Carnesville, Georgia) – The drivers, teams and fans of the FASTRAK Racing Series witnessed a spectacular show at Lavonia, GA for the 3rd edition of Late Model Mania. When the checkers fell and the dust settled it was another 1st time career FASTRAK victory for Greenwood, SC native Colby Cannon taking the $2,000 payday. Now “The Road to Jamaica Tour for the World Championship” makes its next stop of the year with a $3,000 to win show aligned with the “sister series” of FASTRAK the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series on Saturday April 11th for the 2015 edition of the Aaron’s “King of the Commonwealth” at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway.
The race will pay $3,000 to win and will be a part of the new FASTRAK National Tour and will give drivers and teams the 1st chance of the season to get prepared for “The Super Bowl of PRO Late Model Racing” come September 18th and 19th at the exciting high banked ½ mile state of the art facility in the Tidewater region of Virginia. It will be co-headlined with the $20,000 to win ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series “King of the Commonwealth” event which is going to be the biggest paying event in the history of the 5th year series. The FASTRAK National Tour entity created by FASTRAK Founder Stan Lester will consist of being any touring races in either the Southeast or Mid-Ohio Valley (formally Northeast) that will be paying $3,000 to win or more. The FASTRAK National Tour will highlight and feature drivers from “FASTRAK’s Elite” in touring and weekly going at it for a $2,500 to win points champion fund and the top 10 will be rewarded at the season’s end.
