I have to buy a Pressure Washer for an unrelated project I'm doing and figured it would be best to get one that is equally well reviewed for washing race cars as well. Do any of you guys have a recommendation on Pressure Washers? I prefer to support companies that support racing first and foremost but if there are none then anything will do.

Thanks,
Jeff.

we found that having a pressure washer that will also convert to hot water works better. We try to stay around 3000 psi and make sure you have plenty of hose.

Hotsy , landa and alkota are the " brand names " know
For quality. I see a lot of stuff I've never heard of for sale on Craigslist cheap but I would avoid that.

i had a 4000psi honda pressure washer used it for the last 4 years, i bought an older hot water Jeeny pressure washer its 1200psi works 1,000,000 times better than any other pressure washer i used. yeah i have to run both diesel and gas now but makes clean up a lot easier

In most cases you get what you pay for. Don't get a cheapie.

whatever you decide on i would also get a "turbo" or oscillating nozzle. it'll turn an ok pressure washer into an awesome one. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Power-Care-1-4-in-Turbo-Nozzle-for-3-000-PSI-Pressure-Washers-AP31006A/202073582

unless you are looking for an industrial type washer i would find something with a Honda engine and a Comet (or similar) pump. Both are easy to find parts for and can last a long time. Karcher is decent but parts are expensive. The rubber/plastic diaphragm pumps are junk. use that with a turbo nozzle and there's not much you can't clean. you can always tap into your house or shop hot water heater for really greasy or stubborn projects.
