Run it on back and will never change back. Chain is on LR tube.

we knew some other modified guys trying it, started with bushing on chain, to front of cage, she would bounce down track, so you do run shock and spring together on rear, whats it feel like when it drops off throttle, with nothing on front of the cage?

No cushion on chain. Lock in your hike. Makes it more consistent. LR behind on the slow night is stupid fast in and off the corner. Mainly off but also helps entry by not letting to much weight get on the front end. That seems to be the trend today and I don't get it on specific track condition. Might be why we're usually way faster in the dry haha. Talk about yarding people off the corner and in.

Thanks, Ill stick with it then, we ended up taking bushing off, and running solid chain on front of cage, about 3.5 to 4" of drop.

Read some of 9x other posts before you decide if your going to believe him or her. He is all over the place asking stupid beginner questions and posting as if he or she races in every class possible. If you notice he or she says we run, not I run. We infers to me that he or she stands around some poor dudes car and gets in the way.

Not trying to muddy up the water or defend anyone's statements but "we" could be interpreted as "we as a team" . I've never met a champion that did everything all on their own. Professional racers are racing teams. It's very disrespectful to use "I" when part of a team. As a team "we" achieved not "I" achieved.

Ive won series, track and special even championships. By myself. When people do go with me out of state or to special events its to hang out and have fun.

I race weekly against people with paid crew and shop help, not sure what they get out of it but its fun to beat them.

Getting back on track, take your chain off your birdcage and put it on the tube itself. On the BC every bar change changes the amount of drop you have. Put it on the tube and change it from there if you want more.

A real class act this Jeff fella is. His conduct here is well known. It would be an embarrassment to be affiliated with him. Great job representing his sponsors. Maybe someone should send them a transcript of his postings and inform them of how well he is promoting for them. Great display of professionalism there Jeff. I would be ashamed.

My relationship with r2c came about from this forum...

Jdr Performance and Fx Suspension seem to be quite happy with their relationships with me and the tons of business I send their way.

The rest of my racing is funded by selling race parts to racers so I guess that speaks for itself, lol.

send your transcripts anonymous

There may be a time and place for it typically a burnt up dry slick smooth as glass track you will want a chain to your axle tube to limit hike you are also going to loose a lot of control of your left rear because of your shock location the car will want to slam off the bars when you get off the gas and jump right back up instantly when you get back on the gas the shock you run will have very little control over what the car is doing hope this helps and answers your question

I love reading a good tech thread, hey I don't know everything, maybe I'll learn something. The irony isn't lost on me that the guy who complains that this forum is dead, is one of the main reasons for it.
