FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Returns awarding $10,000 to the Champion and pays Top 50 Purse in the Country and Kicks Off this weekend!!

(Carnesville, Georgia) – FASTRAK staying on pace with becoming the innovator in the dirt late model world of crate engine racing, is once again bringing back something better for the ‘weekly racer’. The management of the FASTRAK Racing Series although paying every tour champion for the Southeast, Mid-Ohio Valley (formally northeast) and the NEW National Tour, was concerned about how they could involve more people. The best scenario was the return the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series to pay 50 drivers at season’s end and the Champion claims $10,000. The point’s championship chase gets started this weekend.
“In most cases the Champion of a weekly track is decided as early as July or August” stated Founder Stan Lester. “What we wanted to do was figure out how to include MORE teams not less. I know the bringing back the NATIONAL system paying $10,000 to the champion and distributing a purse to 50 competitors will keep more teams involved in the Points Chase. It just gives everyone more opportunity. The points system has been done away with for the last few years to tweak but we felt this was the best overall and that is why the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series returned,” exclaimed Stan Lester.
FASTRAK will keep our Regional Touring Point systems in place across the country. That won’t change. We just wanted to do something to encourage more people that can’t travel to the larger races. I’m sure everyone would love to come to our $160,000 FASTRAK World Championship at the end of the year but not everyone can afford to do that either financially or can even take the time off of work to do it. This gives EVERY team within the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series a chance to become a NATIONAL CHAMPION.
Terms and Conditions to accumulate points in the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series Points System
**First and foremost FASTRAK Membership’s need to be turned in then the tallying point’s process can begin. We will take your 15 best finishes of the season to decide who will get the Championship**
**Your best 15 races counted for points to determine the overall Champion and Top 50 tally.**
**Again the Points do not count until your membership is in. We do not go back and catch up races.**
We can’t stress this enough RACES WILL NOT BE CALCULATED UNTIL MEMBERSHIP IS IN.
So who will take home the $10,000 this year?? The Points for $10,000 for the return of the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series begin this weekend. Get ready to go to your favorite FASTRAK Weekly sanctioned tracks and cheer your driver(s) on.
