Ponderosa Speedway Adds Full Racing Program to Schedule for This Friday April 10
Junction City, KY-April 5, 2015- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson has added a full racing program to the 2015 schedule for this Friday evening April 10 at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” . The event will be a full racing program for all divisions in weekly competition.
The April 10 date was originally scheduled as an off date, but with the first two events scheduled for the 2015 season falling to Mother Nature, track promoter Jerry Denson has decided to add this event to the schedule for this Friday April 10.
Ponderosa Speedway will now present a full racing program for all divisions this Friday evening April 10. The Super Late Models will race 25 laps for $1,000 to win in their main event, while the Modified division will race 20 laps for $700 to win in their main event. The Pro Late Models will be in action in a 20 lap feature contest that will pay $600 to win, with the KDRA Super Stocks racing 15 laps for $400 to win. The Mini-Cup/Cyclone division will debut as well on Friday April 10, with their main event going 10 laps for $100 to win. RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and transponder scoring will be in use. Drivers will pick up their transponders at the driver registration window and drivers need to be signed in by the time of the drivers meeting at 7:00 p.m. Super Late Models and Modifieds will time trial (2 laps, 2 cars at a time), while Pro Late Models, KDRA Super Stocks, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones will have practice/time trials, with the drivers in these divisions lining up for their heat race events based on their fastest lap in practice.
When drivers sign-in at driver registration, they will also need to pick up a transponder. The rental fee for the transponder is $10 ($5 if they have their own) and the transponder and RACEceiver needs to be in use each time a driver pulls his car onto the track. At the end of the night, drivers must return their transponder (if they have it rented) to the payout window in order to be able to pick up their prize money that evening. Transponder pouches will be available to purchase for $15 each. Transponders must be mounted on the right-rear axle tube.

Activities for the April 10 Full Racing Program that has been added at Ponderosa Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., with practice laps set to start at 7:20 p.m. Time trials will begin at 7:45 p.m., with racing set to take the green flag at 8:30 p.m. All times are Eastern Daylight Times. Tickets prices for the April 10 event in the general admission area will be $15, with children ages 12 and under FREE. A pit pass will be $30.
