Duck River Raceway Park, LLCWheel, TNwww.duckriverracewaypark.comMedia Contact: Josh Plant (jpmpromote@gmail.com)April 15, 2015 Duck River Raceway Park and the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) announce $5000 To-Win UCRA Crate Late Model Bonus event on May 1st and 2nd, 2015.Wheel, TN (04/15/15) -Duck River Raceway Park (DRRP) and the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) are pleased to announce that on May 1st and 2nd, 2015 they will have a $5000 To-Win UCRA Crate Late Model Bonus event.The May 1st and 2nd date that was originally scheduled for a Nesmith Racing sanctioned event has been withdrawn and will now be a United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) event. UCRA Rules will apply visit www.ucraracing.com for a complete rules.After two successful events in the new UCRA series that produced a strong support from crate racers, the UCRA and DRRP will host a 2 day event for the series paying $5000 To-Win. DRRP hosted the inaugural event for the series on March 28th, 2015 that produced 65 competitors signing in competition, Ashley Newman of Ripley, TN took home the $2500 To Win victory. Friday May 1st, 2015 United Crate Racing Alliance competitors will see qualifing and heat races. Also qualifying and heat racing will be: 2 Barrel (Limited) Late Models, Nesmith Street Stocks, and Pure Pony. Also racing will be the Outlaw Pony and E-Mod Openwheels that will race on Friday night only.At Duck River Raceway Park on May 1st, the gates will open at 4:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:30 pm and Hot Laps will roll out around 7:00 pm. Adult general admission is $15.00 Kids 6-12 $5 (5 & Under Free), while pit passes go for $30.00 Kids 6-12 $10 (5 & Under Free) . Saturday May 2nd, 2015 United Crate Racing Alliance competitors will see a last chance race, non-qualifiers race and the feature event. 2 Barrel (Limited) Late models, Nesmith Street Stocks, Pure Pony and Dwarf Cars will also be on tap for feature events.Saturday May 2nd, the gates will open at 3:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:30 pm and Hot Laps will roll out around 6:00 pm. Adult general admission is $15.00 Kids 6-12 $5 (5 & Under Free), while pit passes go for $35.00 Kids 6-12 $10 (5 & Under Free) .
