2.3 Padded Folloers wanted

Does anyone have a NEW set of the padded followers for a 2.3 they would like to sell? Crower sold me the last set and nobody seems to have them. I heard the company that sold them went out of business.

If nobody has any, can you recommend a comparible replacement?

I think I still have 7 padded followers if that helps at all...but they are used.

Ive never been able to get stock rockers to last. Maybe possible with low spring pressure

It's the hydraulic lifters that I have trouble with past 7K. Usually wipes out the followers in the process...low spring pressure will kill top end RPMs.

So far good results with needhp's rockers. 275 lbs open pressure on valve springs turning 8200 rpms.

That pad is a special formula of powdered metal. Automotive Component Engineering has the formula for it, just too expensive to produce in limited quanity's.
