SOUTHERN ALL STAR DIRT RACING SERIES PR#14

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Southern All Stars/NASCAR Weekend At Talladega Short Track

FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will makes its first stop of the 2015 season Saturday night May 2nd at the Talladega Short track in Eastaboga, AL., for the annual NASCAR Weekend with a 40 lap $4,000 to win event. The event has been a long standing deal with the Southern All Stars and with the Talladega Short Track and is one that many of the drivers and fans look forward to each and every year.

Randy Weaver of Crossville, TN., will be the man to beat, so far this year he has won all three Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series events and is always one of the top competitors for the win at Talladega Short Track. He is currently riding a 6 for 6 race streak as he has won in all 6 events that he has entered so far in 2015 throughout the country.

Two time Southern All Star Dirt racing Series Champion Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., will also be on hand as he is working on going after his third straight series title, but he is currently in second place in series points, a place that he has not been in almost two years. Hickman also is a top runner at Talladega and will be a driver that will be up front all night as well. Third place in series points is Chris Madden of Gray Court, SC., fourth place is Todd Morrow of East Ridge, TN., who is making his third run at the series title and is also a top runner in races at Talladega and already has a win at the track this year, and fifth place ins series points is Cruise with the Champion/Dirtondirt.con Rookie of the Year contender Dillon Tidmore of Glencoe, AL., who has had some bad luck in the last two events after a solid run in the opening event at East Alabama, Tidmore will be looking to bounce back at TST.

Other drivers that are expected to be on hand include Chris Wilson of Crossville, TN., Bub McCool of Vicksburg, MS., Brandon Kinzer of Allen, KY., Jake Knowles of Tyrone, GA., and Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN.
Action get underway on Friday night for the super late models with a 30 lap $2,000 to win event and then the Southern All Stars sanctioned events will be on Saturday night, along with a full racing program both nights.

Maybe Grant Pearl. He's from there and helps Weaver. I think he was supposed to run a few races this year.
