CARTERSVILLE, GA – After Week 5 competition of the 27-week 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies season, the top three in the point standings remain the same, but the points difference among the top trio has tightened up just a bit. Richie Stephens of Salem, AL is still the point leader with a 28-point lead over Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS.

Stephens has 230 points after one win and three top five finishes in five races. Stephens was leading the $1,000-to-win race Co-Sanctioned by the Mississippi Street Stock Series on Saturday night at Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL, but cut down a tire late in the race and came home with a 13th-place finish in the Rocketman Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.

Jarrell drove the Jarrell Rigged Race Cars Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine to an eighth-place finish in Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. In five NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division races, Jarrell has two top five finishes and three top ten finishes to total 202 points.

After a Friday night win at Hattiesburg Speedway, Brooks Strength of Raymond, MS remained “Mr. Perfect” with four wins in four races driving the Sauls Farm Chevrolet powered by a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine.
