Toccoa Raceway May 2nd "50th Anniversary Race" FASTRAK Touring Event postponed to help ready teams for quickly approaching "37th Tire-X Annual USA 100"!

(CARNESVILLE, GEORGIA) - In an effort to get our FASTRAK Racing Series Teams better prepared for the upcoming 37th Annual Tire-X USA 100 at Virginia Motor Speedway, FASTRAK Companies International and Toccoa Raceway management have come to the conclusion and are in agreement at this time to POSTPONE the scheduled $2,000 to win FASTRAK Southeast Touring Division Series event scheduled for this Saturday May 2nd. The tentative date will now be rescheduled for Saturday June 6th (unless otherwise changed to new date). Toccoa Raceway located in Georgia is still planning on having a regular weekly racing program this Saturday May 2nd however so support the FASTRAK weekly sanctioned track if you can.
Being a part of the Aaron's King of the Commonwealth alongside our sister series the ULTIMATE Super Late Models Series was special and turned out to be spectacular with the debut of our NEW FASTRAK National Tour having 37 competitors racing on April 11th. Arthur was able to take the win in the 40 lap feature that went "FLAG TO FLAG" with no cautions whatsoever but witnessed plenty of racing excitement in the opening 25 laps had no lie 3-4 wide racing through the entire pack and we mean the entire 24 car field.
The history that's behind the Tire-X USA 100 celebrating its 37th season created by Ernie Shelton is going to be truly special for FASTRAK Racing Series to be a part of. We’re anticipating a large draw of racers to compete at that spectacular dirt late model show as well quickly approaching on May 16th. In addition the corporate staff at FASTRAK Companies International will be working hard with Bill, Clarke Sawyer and Dave Seay at Virginia Motor Speedway in making another “homerun” event. Plus at the same time getting things finalized and sequenced for the “memorial day classic” going into a decade in 2015 the 10th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown with 3 action packed events in one weekend at Beckley, WV, Rural Retreat, VV and Princeton, WV scheduled for May 22nd, 23rd, 24th.
This will also be the last opportunity for the "FASTRAK Elite" on the touring level to compete and figure out the 1/2 mile clay oval in Jamaica, VA before the 12th Annual FASTRAK World Championships - "The Super Bowl of PRO Late Model Racing" scheduled for September 18-19.
NEXT TOURING EVENT - Don't forget the series returns to the 1/2 mile clay gem on Saturday May 16th for the 37th Annual Tire-X USA 100 for another FASTRAK National Tour $3,000 to win show and co-headlining again with sister series Ultimate Super Late Model Series for $10,000 to win be there May 16th.
