drive line angle and front spring question.

how much angle should a drive line have coming out of the tranny on a 4 bar car. And can I use 5.5 front springs on nova lowers. I want to go softer but the only springs I have that are soft enough are 5.5. What will happen if I try them?

The springs won't sit down in the cup like they are supposed to. The old Novas used 5" springs.

Are you talking about angle viewed from above or from the side?
